Birmingham based solicitors DBS Law is issuing an urgent appeal to its corporate and domestic clients to help the Midlands Air Ambulance service. The appeal comes after MAA charity staff were held up at gun point by masked raiders yesterday. The robbers held staff hostage before making off with £1000s of public donations.
DBS Law sponsors the Midlands Air Ambulance and is leading this weekend’s Bike4Life event in the West Midlands to raise funds for the charity.
Biker and Head of Employment Law at DBS Paul Griffin said, “DBS is supporting the Air Ambulance service because of the vital lifesaving work they do. Our firm does a lot of road accident work and we know the job they do is an essential service. “
For this terrible thing to have happened just before Sunday’s event makes it all the more important for us to raise as much money as possible. So we’re asking all our clients to join with us and give what they can.”
