DBS Law Director of Operations, Zeeshan Masood, has taken a giant step in support of St Mary’s Hospice in Birmingham with his first ever sky dive. Zeeshan swallowed his fear of heights and threw himself out of a plane at 10,000 feet to raise £1,000 as part of the firm’s contribution to the Hospice’s 15 week accumulator challenge.
Broad Street based DBS Law is taking part in the fifteen week fund raising challenge organised by the Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice. The challenge pits local businesses against each other in a race to raise the most money for the hospice that serves the needs of seriously ill people and their families across the West Midlands. St Mary’s Hospice needs £6.3 million a year to function and support from local businesses is vital.
Zeeshan Masood said, “It was amazing, I wasn’t scared at all on the way down and it captivated me for two days after the jump. It was a brilliant experience and I would advise everybody to do it especially for a great cause like St Mary’s Hospice.”
