Adeel graduated in Law from University of Derby in 2009 and subsequently went on to complete his diploma in legal practice at The College of Law.

Adeel joined the company in November 2010 and currently works in the Personal Injury Department dealing mainly with road traffic accident cases.

Aleema graduated from University of Wolverhampton in 2008 and subsequently completed her Diploma in Legal Practice at College of Law in Birmingham. During the first year of her employment with the company she worked within our client care team and received intensive training. This enabled her smooth transition to the personal injury department where she now represents clients who have been involved in accidents at work, on the road or in public places, although the majority of her current work involves road traffic accidents. 

Ali graduated from University of Wolverhampton in 2008 with a Law LLB (Hons) and thereafter successfully obtained his Diploma in Legal Practice in 2009. Ali’s immediate ambition is to secure a training contract and qualify as a Solicitor.

Ali works in the Personal Injury Department and primarily handles fast track road traffic cases involving clients who have sustained injuries arising out of motor accidents, as drivers, passengers or pedestrians.  He is proficient at dealing with low velocity impact cases and typically will deal with cases of a value of between £1000 and £25,000.

Ali is fluent in Potohari, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi as well as English. 

Alison graduated from Keele University with Law LLB (Hons), subsequently completing her professional training in legal practice at Nottingham Law School in 2007.

Prior to commencing her employment with the company in 2009, Alison spent two years working at Lyons Davison Solicitors under taking personal injury claims. During her training contract which is due to end in September 2011, Alison has gained experience in various legal fields, including Family Law, Employment Law and Property Law. She is currently working in the Personal Injury Department and is enjoying great success in achieving excellent results for clients who have suffered injuries arising from accidents at work, slips and trips in public places and road traffic accidents, be it drivers  passengers or pedestrians.

In her own time Alison works with under privileged children and takes part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Charity.

Amanpreet began her employment with the company as a paralegal in October 2008. Amanpreet is now a Trainee Solicitor with the firm. She completed her law degree in 2007, achieving a 2.1, and completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School, with a commendation, in 2008.

Amanpreet specialises in dealing with Road Traffic Accidents and has dealt with a variety of injuries, varying from minor soft tissue/whiplash injuries to fractures. In addition, Amanpreet also deals with Public Liability and Employer’s Liability cases.  

Prior to joining the company, Anita had gained 10 years of experience within the customer service sector. Since December 2008 Anita has worked in the Criminal Injury Compensation Claims Department representing the victims of crimes of assault and abuse. Recently she has diversified in to other work types and is also representing clients who have been injured in road traffic accidents.  

Arvind Gusain is an IT Administrator at DBS Law Limited. As a Microsoft Certified System Administrator and Engineer, Arvind have an extensive number of year’s experiences in installing, troubleshooting and maintaining servers, computer hardware and software. He has a strong background in system engineering, networking and security of data, which help to provide outstanding technical services to the organization as well as Client.

Arvind is fluent in English and Hindi. 

Baljit joined the company in November 2010 as a receptionist/legal secretary. Prior to this, she has gained in the region of 20 years experience as a legal secretary dealing with personal injury cases, family law and property law matters. 

Bobby joined the company in January 2008 and works within the customer care team. He has a keen interest in developing office management skills with a view to enhancing internal systems and improving overall customer satisfaction levels.

Bobby is fluent in English and Punjabi. 

Bobby is a valuable member of the accounts team. He is a team leader with over 7 years of experience in legal accounting and is currently studying level 3 AAT qualification at Kaplan Financial. 

Clive is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (FFA) and joined the company in 2008. He previously spent 17 years at an international law firm.  Clive is a senior member in our accomplished accounts team undertaking all aspects of business accounting and budgetary control. 

Elena  graduated in LLB Law from Birmingham City University in 2009 and then completed the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law in 2010. She then went on to gain valuable experience as a Paralegal at Levenes Solicitors followed on by Lyons Davidson. Elena has handled a varied case load consisting of Employer Liability, Public Liability, CICA as well as Road Traffic Accident claims.

She joined the firm in February 2012 and is employed as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury department.

Elena speaks fluent Slovakian as well as English.  

Guganpreet has completed her LPC from University of Wolverhampton. She is currently working in the Client Care Department advising new clients on their potential claims and dealing with general inquiries.  

Guganpreet is fluent in Punjabi and English.  

Gurpreet graduated from University of Leicester in 2007 and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. He then joined the company in 2008 and initially was a part of the home visit team which gave him an immediate opportunity to deal directly with clients and gain firsthand experience.

Following a period of approximately one year in this department, he was transferred to the personal injury department where he has been representing the victims of road traffic accidents.

He has recently commenced his training contract with the company and will also gain experience in other legal areas such as employment Law, Property Law, Immigration Law and Family Law.

Gurpreet is fluent in English, Punjabi and Urdu. 

Harry graduated in bachelors and Master level qualifications in Information technology field. He has developed solid core IT infrastructure skills in planning, designing, developing and maintaining a complete IT & Telecommunications infrastructure for SME’s. His further skill set includes wide knowledge of the latest Microsoft technologies including Virtualization and Failover clustering. He is responsible for providing a reliable, cost effective, secure and performing IT environment, to enable the company to assist its staff in providing clients with an excellent service.

Huma graduated in Business Management and Public Policy from Aston University Business School and is currently completing the CIPD in HR Management.

She joined the company in October 2008 and is currently working in the HR Department and previously worked as a Client Advisor.

Huma is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi 

Huma graduated in Law with honours from Queen Mary College, University of London, subsequently completing her diploma in legal practice at The College of Law in Birmingham.

Huma joined the company in August 2010 and is currently a Paralegal working in the Personal Injury Department.

Huma is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. 

Iram graduated in LLB Law from Nottingham Trent University and is currently completing her LPC from the same institute.  

Iram joined the firm in November 2011 and is now employed as a Client Advisor. She is fully trained in dealing with various new enquiries.  

Iram can speak in Urdu and Punjabi as well as English.

Jascaran initially graduated from Keele University and then completed his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Birmingham.

He joined the company in October 2010 and is now employed as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury department and also assists with credit hire cases.

Prior to joining the company, he worked at Keoghs LLP, who are a Defendant Insurance Litigation firm. Jascaran currently specialises is Road Traffic Accidents but also deals with Employers Liability and Public Liability claims.

Jaskaren graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a law degree and is due to commence the legal practice course in September 2011. Her ambition is to qualify as a solicitor. Since joining the company in February 2010, she has undertaken work as a Legal Secretary which is providing her with early opportunities of gaining considerable experience in the area of personal injury.  

Jaz joined the company in 2010 and is a popular member of the accounts team where she undertakes a variety of legal accounting process. Jaz is currently studying the AAT accounting course at Kaplan College of Finance. 

Jerome joined the company in November 2009. Initially, he received training in the accounts department and undertook a variety of accounting processes. However, he displayed a keen interest in legal costs recovery and recently transferred to the costs department, where he is responsible for ensuring timely recovery of fees from opponents. 

Kamala joined the company in February 2010. She works in the IT Department and specialises in Web Development.

Kate joined the company in 2009, working in the accounts department where she has achieved very high standards.

Khameeza started her career as a Paralegal at Irwin Mitchell law firm, moving to this company in 2010. She completed her Diploma in Legal Practice whilst working full time. She has more than three years of experience in representing clients who have been injured in road traffic accidents.

Kirandeep  graduated in LLB Law from Staffordshire University in 2003 and then completed the Legal Practice Course from the same institute in 2005. She then went on to gain valuable experience as a Paralegal at AIG Legal Services followed on by Berrymans Lace Mawer LLP and Browne Jacobson LLP. Kirandeep has handled a varied case load (defendant and claimant) consisting of Employer Liability, Public Liability as well as Road Traffic Accident claims.

She joined the firm in October 2011 and is now employed as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury department.

Kirandeep speaks fluent Punjabi as well as English.  

Laura joined the company in January 2011 and is currently receiving training to undertake various accounting tasks. 

Laura graduated in Law with Business Management from Keele University in 2011 and is hoping to start her legal practical course in 2012. Laura joined the company in July 2011 and is currently working in the Commercial Property Department. Laura is looking forward to being involved in the DBS Heart Project helping people to shape their futures.

Lee joined the company in November 2009, originally working in the accounts department before moving into general office duties and to assist the general office manager to ensure the day to day smooth running of the office and to provide administrative support where necessary. 

Leslie graduated in Law with French Law LLB from University College of London in 2008 and then completed the Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School. She then went on to gain valuable experience as a trainee solicitor at Debevoise and Plimpton LLP including a three month secondment to Starr & Partners.

Leslie joined the firm in October 2011 and is now employed as a Solicitor in the Employment Law Department.

Lisa has been working within the legal profession for the last 20 years and joined the company in 2010 as general office manager. Lisa is responsible for organising and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency. 

Mandeep joined the firm in September 2011. He is a qualified Solicitor working in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

Mandeep has extensive insolvency litigation experience dealing with both personal and corporate insolvency matters. He is an Associate member of R3, Association of Business Recovery Professionals and the Insolvency Lawyer’s Association. He also has experience of dealing with a number of cases involving VAT fraud and claims under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and is a member of the Proceeds of Crime Lawyer’s Association (POCLA). In addition, Mandeep has experience of director disqualification proceedings (having previously worked for the Insolvency Service) and advising on general commercial litigation matters. 

Monika graduated in Master of Law from Adam Mickiewicz University in 2008. She then went on to gain valuable experience as an Administrator and previously worked as a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Clerk.  

Monika joined the firm in November 2011 and is now employed as a Polish Interpreter assisting the existing Polish clients. She is also fully trained to handle new Polish enquiries.  

Monika can speak Polish and English.

Mukesh began his employment with the company initially as an accounts clerk in August 2008, but displayed an early interest in the Law. Accordingly, due to the level of his commitment he was given the opportunity to develop his true vocation and was transferred to the personal injury department. He is currently being sponsored by the company to complete his law degree on a part-time basis and will hopefully go on to qualify as a solicitor in due course.

He currently represents clients who have suffered various injuries, arising from road traffic accidents.  

Narinder graduated in Law in 2004 from University of Wolverhampton and subsequently completed her legal Practice Course and became a qualified solicitor in 2007. She began her career at an international law firm. Narinder has particular expertise in dealing with personal injury cases, and has dealt with a wide range of accident claims. However, Narinder also has a broad knowledge of commercial property transactions and has acted for a number of developers in option agreements, site assembly schemes, conditional contracts and site purchases and disposals. 

Having started out as a volunteer at the company over three years ago, Neeru initially worked within the client care team and now specialises in Personal Injury cases, mainly dealing with road traffic accident claims. She did a short spell at another national firm, Russell Jones and Walker conducting some of the highly published ‘sofa cases’, before returning to the company.

Neeru studied at the University of Birmingham and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2008.

As a valued member of the team, Neeru’s recent highlight has been the first to issue and settle a case under Stage 3 of the Rapid Claim Portal at Birmingham County Court. A new system that was introduced to streamline the claims process and hopefully make it more straight forward for claimants. 

Oliver successfully achieved his A levels and is currently studying the ILEX course. He commenced gaining valuable legal experience as a Paralegal at Plexus Law. Oliver is experienced in dealing with Road Traffic Accidents claims.

He joined the firm in September 2011 and is employed as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury department.

Paljinder studied the LLB Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University and completed her degree in 2007. She then attended Nottingham Law School where she completed the Legal Practice Course in 2008.

Since completing the Legal Practice, Paljinder has gained experience in the Immigration Department at DBS Law. Her role entails advising clients on their immigration enquiries, preparing and submitting applications to the Home Office and chasing the Home Office for a decision on applications. Paljinder also submits applications to various British High Commission Officers in different countries to enable clients to come to the UK using the Immigration Rules and the Entry Clearance route.  

Ravi joined the company in August 2007. He is a fully trained and an experienced Home Visit Executive. His job involves visiting clients at their convenience to help complete the documents before starting the claim and to answer any queries that they may have.

Ravi is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and English.  

Rebecca joined the company in 2008 and plays an integral part the operation of the accounts department ensuring appropriate regulatory compliance applicable to legal cashiering. Rebecca has in excess of 30 years experience in this field.

Richard has 20 years’ experience dealing with newspapers and the broadcast media. For the last ten years he was Director of Communications for the giant union Unite.  

Rukhsana is a legal secretary to one of the directors of the firm whereby she is the first port of contact in dealing with client queries, liaising with the court, defendants and other professional bodies. Her main duties include, audio typing, arranging meetings and appointments, construction of pleadings and preparing trial bundles. Rukhsana also has experience of working in other areas of law such as family, immigration, residential conveyancing and litigation.  

Rupy started her career as a Paralegal at a top 100 law firm, CTS, in 2007 where she started work just after completing her GDL and then going onto to study her LPC part time whilst working full time. Following completion of her LPC, she has secured herself with a Training Contract at CTS which is due to commence in September 2011. She should then go onto qualify as a Solicitor in 2013.

In practice, Rupy acts on behalf of Claimants who have suffered injuries arising from road traffic accidents, in the course of their employment and in public places.  

Rupy speaks fluent Punjabi as well as English 

Miss Saima Zaffar is an experienced Litigation Executive who has been with the company since November 2005 and since that time has been representing the victims of accidents, who have suffered injuries ranging from minor to serious arising from slips and trips in public places as well as product liability cases and beauty therapy which has gone wrong.

Sam also plays an integral part in organising the company social events. 

Sandeep attained his Masters in Law in 2008 from Warwick University. He joined the company in May 2011. He is currently working in the Client Care department offering the clients an excellent service by assessing potential claims and dealing with general inquiries.

Sandeep is fluent in Punjabi and English.   

Sandy Nahal joined DBS Law in 2005. As a Solicitor she is now part of the Immigration Dept where she has gained extensive knowledge and experience in this area and thoroughly enjoys this work.

On a daily basis, Sandy undertakes initial client consultations, gives advice on immigration problems and issues, prepares and submits applications to the Home Office for various categories, drafts representations for client’s and assists in the smooth running of our client’s matters. Sandy has successfully assisted numerous individuals with Human Rights Applications and feels extremely satisfied when client’s receive their indefinite leave to remain in the UK.Sandy regularly attends to clients at Immigration clinics at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau. Sandy has also appeared on the Immigration show on the Sikh Channel on Sky TV where she has assisted viewers with their Immigration enquiries.

Satnam is a Solicitor at the company. He commenced employment with the company in February 2007. He began working on a part-time basis whilst he was undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Law. He made the transition into law after initially completing a Business degree at university. Whilst working at company on a part-time basis he was a member the customer care team and was responsible for discussing new claims with clients, along with visiting clients to help discuss the personal injury claims procedure and helping them to commence their claims. He joined the company on a full-time basis in November 2008 and began his training contract in January 2010. He will qualify as a Solicitor in January 2012. 

Satty joined the company in September 2010 after spending over 20 years at a national law firm working in their accounts department. She has brought with her a wealth of experience to the role which she undertakes in her current capacity. 

Shahena graduated in Law from Birmingham City University, which she undertook on a part-time basis and whilst at the same time working at the company as a client care executive. Since then, she has commenced her studies for the legal practice course and now works on a full time basis in the personal injury department where she is enjoying significant success with outstanding results for clients who have suffered injuries arising from road traffic accidents.

Shahena has also assisted Solicitors in dealing with cases involving Medical Negligence, Public Liability, Criminal Injuries, Road Traffic Accidents and Employer’s Liability.

Shahena is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Bengali as well as English.

Sian joined the company in June 2009 and works as a Legal Secretary in the personal injury department assisting senior lawyers with their client files. Sian’s duties vary from dealing with clients in person and on the telephone, organising a very busy diary, typing, preparing court papers and all administrative duties.  

Susan began her legal career in 1985 as a fee earner for a leading claimant personal injury firm where she spent almost ten years and enrolled in ILEX. In 1995 Susan joined another leading firm of solicitors in Birmingham handling predominately road traffic accident claims as panel solicitors for a national insurance company. She went on to incorporate workplace, public liability and occupiers liability claims and joined the company in February 2007. She has successfully pursued many claims through to Trial, some of which have been reported in Current Law and on Lawtel. Susan attends regular training seminars and is a long-standing member of the Birmingham County Court User’s Committee. 

Vacaas joined the company in December 2008. He is a fully trained Home Visit Executive. His job involves visiting clients at their convenience to help complete the documents before starting the claim and to answer any queries that they may have initially.

Vacaas is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and English.   

Vicky graduated in Law from Birmingham City University in and thereafter completed her diploma in legal practice at The College of Law, Birmingham before commencing employment with a top 100 law firm, namely Russell Jones and Walker. In 2007, Vicky joined the company and commenced a training contract leading to her full qualification as a solicitor in 2009. She gained Higher Rights of Audience in September 2010 meaning she can take instructions to act in civil, criminal and Judicial Review proceedings from other firms of Solicitors and private paying clients. She is a Team Leader, supervising 4 other lawyers.

In practice, Vicky acts on behalf of Claimants who have suffered injuries arising from road traffic accidents, in the course of their employment and in public places up until Trial. She also has significant experience in dealing with claims where issues relating to liability and quantum are disputed and deals with costs related matters.

Vicky is a member of the Junior Lawyer’s Division and works on their helpline providing a support service for other members of the legal profession.    

Vishal graduated from Coventry University with an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology. He joined the company in 2007 and is currently the team leader of the customer care team, responsible for dealing with new enquires. He is vastly experienced in dealing with all types of personal injury enquires and has assisted greatly in improving the internal workings and systems of this department within the company.

Vishal is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
