In today’s world, people are flooded with different images of accident claims, some positive and some not so positive and the word ‘claim’ can at times have a stigma attached to it. This can make it very confusing and very difficult for individuals who may be at their most vulnerable after an accident, to decide where to turn to.
DBS Law will ensure that you get professional advice from qualified lawyers with many years of experience in dealing with accident claims. From the very outset, funding will be clearly explained to you so that you are certain that you will not end up out of pocket. Pursuing a personal injury claim which is successful should end up with you receiving 100% of your compensation and your legal costs paid by the other party and not you.
When you instruct DBS Law to pursue your claim, you will not have to pay anything up front or whilst your claim is ongoing or at the end of your claim, whether you win or lose. In fact our costs will be recovered from the other party, so that you receive 100% of your compensation.
There are only two exceptions to this which is accidents involving untraced drivers or criminal injury claims.
As well as being sure about how your case is funded and whether it will cost you anything, it is essential that you receive the best legal advice. It really can make a huge difference in determining how much compensation you will receive and whether you are successful with your claim at all. Far too often we hear of stories of individuals receiving poor advice or inadequate levels of compensation.
Our personal injury lawyers are specialists in their field, many of whom have years of experience in handling claims and who have recovered many thousands of pounds on behalf of our clients.
DBS Law is happy to discuss without obligation to you any claim that you may want to consider pursuing. We will not push you to claim, but will be there to help you pursue a claim, once you have been given the right information, so that you can make the right decision.
Our commitment to our clients and ensuring that their best interests are at the forefront of our minds is ultimately how we achieve the best results.
We pride ourselves on offering a personal service that enables us to develop a full understanding of our client’s needs and to form a close working relationship with them.
In the United Kingdom, the law allows you 3 years to make a claim for most types of accident claims. This is known as the Statutory Limitation Period. However, for some types of accident claims, this can only be one or two years, for example accidents on aeroplanes or on water, even in the UK. Accidents abroad can also be subject to shorter Limitation Periods.
It is always best to seek professional legal advice as soon as possible following an accident as any delay may adversely affect a claim.
